The STAR ODF 2U is a high-density, pre-terminated compact optical distribution frame, built in stacked 6 trays of 4 modules each. This brilliantly simple sliding tray system makes handling the modules as quick and easy as intuitive plug-in components, allowing Data Centers to smoothly manage Moves, Adds and Changes (MACs).


  • Supports a wide range of STAR modules built in 6 trays stacks, each of 4 modules.
  • Compatible with IEEE 802.3ae Standard - Fiber Optics up to 10 Gb/s.
  • Compatible with IEEE 802.3ba Standard – Fiber Optics 40Gb/s and 100Gb/s.
  • ETL lab verified for up to 100G Ethernet according to IEEE 802.3ba-2010.
  • TELCORDIA GR-449-CORE and TIA 942 compliant.
  • Sliding numbered trays allowing easy and convenient installation.
  • Easy labeling with built-in documentation chart.
  • Combined with Bend-Insensitive, Uni-Boot patch cords for maximum density & reliability.
  • Bend-Insensitive fibers MM OM3 as per IEC 60793-2-10 type A1a.2, MM OM4 as per IEC 60793-2-10 type A1a.3 and SM as per ITU-T G657A2.
  • Colored patch cord routing guides in each tray allowing easy network differentiation (LAN and Storage).
  • Complies with UL94-V-0 Safety of Flammability of Plastic Materials standard.
  • Complies with EIA-310 19" racks, panels and associated equipment standard.
  • RoHS compliant.
  • Modules can be inserted from both side, rear and front.
